To the greater degree the bikes are all the same, although admitedly certain chassis and suspension designs must work better than others. I think the greatest benefits,(along with his undoubted talent) that Bradders has are that he had a season with the ultra pro Aspar team in 125's and is now with Tech 3 who have shown themselves to be very capable in preparing bikes both in Moto Gp and now in Moto 2. many other teams in Moto 2 are new to the game and a little cobbled together.

Rossi was treated like a god. Amazing scenes in Mugello. He came 6th and way off the pace but he was treated like a god.

Hector Barbera on a customer Ducati bike troubled him all race long and Barbera was also fastest bike on curcut. Hardly a hero ride from Vale.

Dani Pedrosa must be sick as a parrot. Hondas golden boy and now watching Stoner take the title.

I give top marks for Stoner...he is the only rider who can ride the Ducati and he got on the Honda and smoked em from the beginning...but my god...he doesnt half annoy me. Respect his talent but the guy is not my cup of tea. I would rather cheer Rossi coming last than Stoner coming first.

Yes I think Casey's people need to educate him a little in the ways of media management. Grumble all you want in the motorhome but when cameras and mikes are around, smarten up a little fella.

It is very important today as the sponsorship dollar is vital with no company wanting to be represented by a "mardy ass." Granted though, the lad is a supreme talent.

EDIT: From what I've heard on the box... not some sort of inside knowledge
Casey has the Mick Doohan type idea, doesn't matter how well I've done I could have done better. He's also not there to entertain he there to win. He'd rather just ride off and leave people behind and in doing so it spreads out the field as the rest can't keep up hence boring races. He moaned about tyres and them overheating like the team said they would but Bridgestone said they weren't to change anything.

But I bet Casey is happy when his lovely wife is standing there wearing nothing more than a smile. You'll see a toothy grin then

Its a bit harsh saying Bradley is only doing well because his bike is good... Its down to the team and the rider to make that bike as quick as possible, good on Bradders and Tech 3 for getting a bike to work... I know for certain if you put me on Bradley Smith's bike I wouldn't even get on the grid my times wouldn't even be close to the 107%.

I find myself warming to Stoner more and more and I still think he is one if not the best rider out there. People get on his case because he "has no personality" or "complains all the time". So? I wanna watch him race - not marry the guy!

Best benchmark comparison is probably his teamate! So where was Mike Dimeglio again?

He was 35.581 seconds and 21 places behind Bradley.

But I was saying its not just down to the bike being good I hope you didn't take me the wrong way. I was paying Bradley a compliment in my underhand way.

I'm not a big fan of Lorenzo but he rode brilliantly at Mugello. The overtakes he pulled on Dovi & Stoner in that fast downhill sweeping S bend were nothing short of breath taking.

Stoner had a bad day at the office and still stuck it on the podium; despite Lorenzo winning at the weekend I can't see anyone else other than Stoner taking the title.

Also good on Bradley for getting his third podium in a row!
