What happened to insurance - £1300 for a Citroen C3?

Levo what companies have you been getting quotes with? you'll also need to see what 'risk' category is in too. ~Sometimes you'll get higher quotes if a company has paid out a large amount local to your area. Try and find a company that isnt as large. Have you tried a company that does 6 wheel insurance quotes?

I'm rather pleased with insurance this year. I have had my license 2 years and 2 years NCB and got fully comp for £570 including girlfriend and dad as named drivers. Having my girlfriend on there knocks of many hundreds of pounds
This is for a 10 year old 206 2.0 hdi (I detest it but it'll have to do).

To put it in perspective, last year it cost me ~£1300, so you can imagine how pleased i am

I did a Confused.com to get a stack of quotes in one go, then worked through a few big companies like Direct Line and Churchill, nothing came close to SwiftCover renewal quote. I've got a few weeks till its due so will try some smaller companies to see how they compare.

I think it shocked me more because my quotes have been cheaper year on year, then jumps up £150 this year. I'm back at the price I was paying 3 years ago :S
