well the USD forks and fairing design do make it look more modern, and of course suzuki could easily do that on the SV.

Styling for the new motorcycle was done by British designer Glynn Kerr. In earlier stages, there were plans to produce 1,000–1,500 cc (61–92 cu*in) Rotax-based 90° V-twins

I like the tail design (on the Fischer). You can fart right through the gap and if it's a good one the hot exhaust would ignite it - get the GP racer look for a fraction of the cost
