That one mate, cant say conclusively it was the conkets, but there were conkers under a conker tree right at the same spot.

Back to this bodge, its hard to know how much laquer to use. Also, the rubbing compound just takes off laquer it seems! This stuff is no replacement for the two part urethane and hardener the pros use.

Yep, ill be getting some sliders soon too
You'll need at least 5 thin layers of clear, then you have to leave it to harden or it will just come off when polishing.

I'd leave it at least a month then polish it with a rotary mop and a fine compound.
