Rotten luck at the end of a nice ride

The road from Ludlow to Bridgo is a corker Suggest next time you go up the A49 a bit to Craven Arms and take a right at the r/bout (second one if coming from Ludlow) on the Corvedale Road. It's terrific

Best Dad moment ever, maybe

He asked me tonight if we could go out for another ride on Sunday when his bike is fixed. I must have had something in my eye cos I needed to go and blow my nose several times...

Was out that way on Sunday - was in the area for a wedding, reception was at The Punchbowl on the Ludlow Road, and was staying at The George in Brigdnorth, left there about 11am on the Sunday.

I often wonder why (apart from poser-value) people go for the fully-faired learner 125's, had that been a CG125 the repair bill would be a lot less.

Is there any real difference apart from the amount of plastic on the bikes?

Don't you remember when you were 17 and posing was important

+1

None of us need anything more than a 125 because they'll hit the national speed limit, but most of us ride bikes capable of far more purely because we can (some because they are fat lardy b'stards who need the extra pulling power, but they're in a minority of freaks).

Good luck to your lad, sounds like he's a proper motorcyclist in the making - especially going off to find comfort in the arms and whatever of a woman after a spill... top kid.

I love that corner coming down off the bridge.

Yeah i know where you are, im on studley road just past the mayfly going towards town.

As for posing. When I was 24, i choose not to get the cbr 125 because id be embarrased trying to pretend to look like a big bike, i wanted a small bike to look like a small bike. I think its the really skinny wheel that put me totally off. What i ended up with was pretty crap though.
