Update on this one...

The other guy has lied on his statement saying he was stationary. with no witnesses i'm guessing this leaves me with a fight on my hands. funny how he didn't contest my account when i told the police...

Saw that coming I'm afraid - happens all the time. I've seen a lot of claim forms and hardly anyone admits fault even in the most obvious circumstances. I had one guy run into a house and blame it on his satnav.

If the police spoke to him then make sure whoever is representing you is getting a copy of the police report - it might indicate that he has changed his story.

As I mentioned before - is there any CCTV on that roundabout?

Police report could be key I think.
