Never thought about that. My bike was a terror for it on the road over past Knockhill. The Wibbly Wobbly and the Kinlochleven Loop could get it upset too, but I think that'd be the case on any bike. I always blamed an inadequate rear shock for my weight.

Wow! What a sack of crap this bike is turning out to be.

Have already fitted Maxton front springs and thicker oil in an attempt to cure the handling issues. The only reason I bought an SV was because of the supposedly decent handling and low insurance group.

I guess I'll just sell the bloody thing.

The OEM shock on my curvy was pretty shot when I got it. Changed it and transformed the handling.

There a great bike fella, dont sell it yet.

Why not give try and sort the play with what YC was saying?

Many Suzuki and other manufacturers have the same issue. Maybe this is not your issue at all?

Calmed down now. Collected all of my toys back in me pram and my dummy is back where it should be.

Going to try and rectify the problem as suggested. Probably go the shimming route as it gives me some adjustment.

I agree that swing arm play may not be the source of my handling issues but it certainly isn't helping. For minimal cost I can sort it. Then I know it isn't an issue

After that, I'll more than likely replace the rear shock. I'll get this thing to handle one way or the other. lol
