I shall be back under a Lancaster later on in the year, with a few mates for the annual Buell and Italian Bike Charity Day....shameless plug, but its a damn good day, with some damn fine people and bikes attending!

I have a long term lust thing going on with Ewan McGregor, but that's not why I'm watching this. I was lucky enough to help organise a flypast by the Lancaster at work a couple of years ago. And we had the veterans in for the day. They had some amazing stories to tell. At the end of the match I brought Andrew Strauss and Michael Clarke out to have their photos taken with the veterans, it was one of my most memorable days at work.

Brilliant show. Due to my job I get to visit the BBMF on occasion. On one of my previous visits I was given the honour of actually going on board the Lancaster and sitting in every crew position including the pilot seat. It's a thing of beauty but as was stated in the programme it certainly is cramped even wearing civvies. I dread to think what it would have been like trying to get out in the dark wearing full flight gear whilst being shot at.

Yep, great prog watching it fly was quite emmotional for me and some of the memories I hold when I've seen it fly.

Good to see that those Bomber Boys have finally been recognised.

It won't be long before most of them have gone, so it was good to hear their side of the story.

Was a great programme, only gripe I had with it was, when they struck those beautiful Merlin engines up, and every time it flew close by all I could hear was *that* friggin music drowning out the engine sounds!
