K3 CCT is only EUR 49.50 from CMSNL in the Netherlands. But with bolt sping and gasket is £61 delivered. Or £51 delivered from powersportplus in the states!

If you want to be sure then pull front cam cover and check chain for slack.

If you swap them front-rear it will shut up for a minute or so, you don't hear rear because it gets full of oil.

Well I fitted a s/hand K3 one and it did indeed cure the rattle.

How many miles was on the bike btw? It would be nice to know what the limit would be on expecting to replace this part.

28k. There is still some rattle but its lessened it by about 75%. I only replaced the front cyclinder one too. Might have shut it up completely had I have done both?

K3 Job c.v: Engine:remove/split/rebuild/refit. Replace:Gearbox,Fuel pump,Gaskets. Piston clean,rings. Overhaul:Throttle body,Injectors,Brakes,Forks. Remove/refit:Exhaust,Radiator,Oil cooler,Throttle,Air filter,Tank. Replace: Oil,Coolant,grease,brake hoses & bleed.
