standard, I would replace with braided but need the bike ready for monday so will leave that for another time. Ended up getting a garage to strip and rebuild calipers as they were really bad and I didnt have the correct equipment to do a good job f it.

Bleed the M/C best you can at first.
Bleed the left hand caliper and get it clear of air, do the same with the right one and then go back from the top.

This vid should help http://youtu.be/tkxcQzhgJLU

Lever is cable tied but lid isnt loose. Would it make much difference? as theres no fluid in the MC anyway. Forgot to cable tie lever before removing calipers.

It will allow any big bubbles to move up the system

Well theres no fluid in the MC and the calipers are on the kitchen table in a bag. So probably very little fluid still in the system.

Not needed then just put the hose ends in a bag so they don't leak everywhere

Don't make the same mistake I did and ride it. I was very lucky that I pulled over to turn my Tutoro oiler on otherwise I probably wouldn't have noticed until it was too late.

If they seize it's because of corrosion behind the dust seal, slarting grease about would only help temporarily at best. At worst make it worse depending on what grease you used.
