Thanks RH, thats valuable info - my missus had Shingles at a young age and is 101% convinced she caught it from someone else who had pox at the time.

Think I'll play it safe and just hide in a hole for the next week, cant afford the time off work with something like Shingles!

I've got shingles at the moment and its not nice!

Although mine has almost dried up now, you can catch it from direct contact with the fluid in the blisters. Once they scab over and dry up, the risk is gone.

I blame the fact I got it on stress, had a bad month and worked myself to death with overtime and suddenly it appeared. Its now left me with a bad back, which just constantly aches.

Also, it follows nerves, not veins I think...

well I caught chicken pox twice last year and now everyone in our house hold has now had the pox.. anything is possible..

Sorry that could be correct, couldn't remember exactly what the doc told me 10 years ago just remember it following weird patterns
