Relax.
The test starts as soon as you leave the building and doesn't end until you are safely back off the bike again so do all your checks and that, even though you are off road in the test centre carpark.
Relax
Don't worry about the independent riding bit - you won't be failed for getting lost as long as you ride it all properly.
Relax
Remember that passing or failing this time isn't life or death - you can always take it again.
Relax
Ride like you should ride anyway - remember your mirrors, lifesavers etc.
Relax
Friday 13th is just the name of a slightly **** film - it means nothing as a date
Relax

Good luck

Carry on doing just that. Don't try and do anything you don't normally do, or try and exaggerate anything specially for the test. Doing so will take concentration away from your riding (to busy trying to remember to do things differently) and just lead to far more significant errors.

Have some confidence that if you ride like you do for your instructor then you will pass, have confidence in yourself that you can do that, and most importantly have confidence in the examiner that they will be able to see what they need to see without you overdoing it.

Good luck.....

Ride as you normally would. Concentrate on a smooth, safe ride rather than the guy behind you.

I found myself singing in my helmet on my mod 2. Maybe I was a little too relaxed

I got a minor for pulling up in front of someone's driveway. Nobody had ever told me that I shouldn't!

Anyway, my point was, when you are asked to pull over safely, make sure you know where you can and cannot pull up.

Oh, and re: relax... my take on it, is that you need to walk in there with the attitude of "this is in the bag, I'm just going for a ride".

Silly things like making sure you don't stop on hashed areas/ 'DO NOT BLOCK' areas too.

I started my test thinking I was gonna f**k up big time and I passed with 0 minors :P

Good luck

My minor, thinking about things like that, was for entering a roundabout in traffic before my exit was clear. He could have made more of it, but he could see that I was looking ahead and had seen the traffic just off the roundabout starting to move again. He was right to pick me up though - if the car at the back of the queue had stalled I would have been stranded still on the roundabout.
