good all year commuting textiles = megga bucks. your looking at the likes of RUKKA
good leathers + overproofs = reasonable bucks add to this chill-out undergarments or even heated gear for winter riding. idea behind overproofs is that when they are worn out you throw them away and get more, leathers become like old friends and the longer you have them the better they fit. plus if its nice and sunny then you don't need to put overproofs on. if you be sensible and get a good set of leathers that are not power ranger colours then you wont have to change them when you change your bike. boots = get the best you can. TCX competizone gortex are supposed to be the doggyzz doodazz. there is nothing worse than wet feet. gloves = hahahahahaaaaaaaaa. i don't think anyone makes a true waterproof pair. make sure they are a little loose rather than a little tight or it will stop the circulation to your fingers which gives you pins and needles. helmet = one that fits properly. who cares about the badge when your brain is lying all over the tarmac. a good fitting helmet is vital. but make sure that everything fits. if your riding your bike and something is niggling then it takes your concentration away. |

Thanks for that some good advice in there. I was looking at some of the rst leather trousers for about £125-130 as I have a Rst textile jacket already. My helmet is a neon yellow Icon item
http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/icon...iz-helmet.html thought I may aswell be seen as no bloody excuses wearing this lol. Fits well and You can buy the cushioning inside a few sizes up and down for a better fit |

if you are after reasonable priced good quality leathers then i would recommend Scott Leathers.
i had a bad experience with MTM from them but there is no denying the quality of their stuff. it's made to last. |

Topgearsuperstore for the TCX boots, look in the bike gear/boots section, I posted a link they're on offer at £149.99 right now instead of £200+
