Right, I'm back from collection, I've put perhaps 15 miles on it but I have to say I love it.

The Juke styling is a little polarising with people but I started to like it before my wife did. She ultimately chose the body styling but I have no qualms with it, its funky. We tried the qashqai too and while I liked it, bigger, manlier, its just not what we needed. We don't have a family to lug around, if we need more shopping space we will drop the back seats and make it like an urban pickup

The qashqai is a nice car, not too big but the Juke is a small hatchback on a taller chassis and if that is what you are wanting then I don't think there is anything else quite like it to be honest.

Having the engine that goes is ace compared to our badly tuned 1.4 peugeot 307 we swapped it for. I can overtake on 4 wheels now, its a revelation.

The reversing camera and sensors are something I've wanted for ages, we got the full leather interior and I put an arm rest on and am glad I did, its perfect. The built in SatNav seems pretty good, gonna try it this afternoon to find the gig venue. The thing that is the most important for me is that I can just plug my iphone into the USB and my tracklist/playlists/artists all show up on a touch screen, I can scroll and select tracks from the steering wheel and it has bluetooth so I can do all the usual phone stuff required there.

It has 3 driving modes too, eco, normal and sport. They only change throttle and steering response I think but they do make a noticeable difference!

Oh and I'm really liking the fuelband, I'm at 1189 today already, a normal sedentary day is supposed to be around 2000 "fuel points" their own metric which makes it a little distant from calories but also gives a more even gauge across different activities I think.
They are due to be released at the beginning of the month for £139, a few are on pre-sale in the london store, limited stock, the usual hype machine. I've had my eye on them since announcement though and I had ebay set to alert me if one was in this country and at a price I could justify.

And to finish off, here is the obligatory shot of the our turbo charged road going beachbuggy:

Thanks for indulging (and hopefully sharing in) my excitement.
And Puny, that's pretty spot on, I'm in full on kid mode now
