Bubble my pretty, bubble!
![]() ![]() However, I got the recipe a bit wrong and only used 200g of sugar. Will this just affect the abv or what? I used muntons GV10 yeast. £1.35

I got a Kit at Xmas which was fake Koppaburg with spices in it, tasted ok once it fermented.
6 months of sitting on my office book shelf (all 30 1 pint bottles) and it is probably the best cider I have EVER tasted. Stunning!! I also bought some Diablo (strong german dark beer) at the time and wasnt fussed on it when it came out of the bucket but after 6 months its excellent!! Need to get another brew on!!!!! |

might be buying a new house soon, it has outside brick outbuildings so looks like a good place to store it when its bottled.

Chris, that yeast looks fine. Each one has a different taste, so find what you like and stick with it. Just look at http://www.whitelabs.com/ to see why.
As for the sugar, it'll make slightly less alcohol. Pete ![]() |

The pack actually said almost verbatim the same as on the yeast you linked me to, so it should produce something drinkable
![]() Then again a brew made with bread yeast actually ticked the "gets you well hammered" box fine when skint and studenty!! I dunno, bearing in mind I've done it before that cider took about 20 minutes to start off.
