my fella has an SV and I was pillion for a few years before getting my own and have not looked back since! I'm another 5ft7er and I'll admit the SV is a tad on the high side for me but she's manageable most of the time lol. Good luck trying out new bikes, I was looking at Er6s as well as the SV but I don't regret my choice, over 60mpg and more importantly, lots of fun!
