Dalesbridge, Settle. April, the correct time to sunbath in the North. The do it all location, never visited when the sun shines. Slap bang in the middle for The kilts and the Southern shandy drinkers making it more accessible to the wider org community.

And the northerns dont complain that the "Tea Tastes Funny" or that beer costs more than "tuppence-ha'penny"

Precisely . Plus the venue welcomes us back, coz they love us.

I've got a great big marquee, a wholesalers account for food, and live 50 miles away from there, its a piece of cake (literally) to coordinate from 50 miles away.....

We cant put the AR there every year tho.

Maybe we should come up with a 3/4 year rotation.

Other plan that would work, just like there is the GM, each region could easily organise an annual event, not the AR, just the "Dales Dizzyness" every April

There would still be an AR, still moving around (although one of the Regionals could be "promoted" to AR status every x number of years.)

Couldn't give a monkeys about diplomacy of rotating to suit democracy that so obviously doesn't work.
It's more a case of those willing to give up their time to provide an AR.

The offer is on the table. Take it or leave it.

*"Dales Dizzyness"*
Love the sound of that.
Can we have one please.
The Crayoned one could make some interesting art with that name.

How doesn't it work, the longstanding members of the Forum voted, we had an AR.

Seems to have worked ok, just like every other year there has been an AR that I attended where a vote was called.
