Seriously does make me wonder if I'd even report it if I had any footage like that. Questions asked in the right places will always help you find out who they were. If the police are unable to pursue them for the bike crime whats the chance they'll pursue their attackers if all 3 were set upon by a group of masked angry men... if that many bikes get nicked in london it cant be too hard to find enough angry men to form the group with.

Ah, that's conspiracy....

What you need is a spot of social networking, "Flash mob request - <location to be determined>, wear a hoodie and bring an offensive weapon"

I have seen a bike thief caught after he was recognised as being the person riding off on a nicked bike. When his garage was opened there were at least 6 other bikes in there including the one belonging to my mate.

There must have been at least 50 blokes outside his house as he was dragged out and his hands put over the kerb and lump hammer applied. By the time the police arrived whoever had done it was long gone and nobody knew who it was anyway.

I doubt that young man would be able to hold a knife and fork again. But sometimes if you are going to play with fire you are going to get burned. It was a long time ago, different rules applied.

Now I don't advocate that sort of vigilante justice. It was brutal and overkill for the crime. But the message got about. The pub were the theft took place was visited by plod who had a few quiet words that they knew what had happened and why and it better not happen again.

We should start a campaign and get the guy running that site to host it,Advertise that video everywhere and someone will know who they are. Also get anyone else who has bikes stolen to post up on there with whatever evidence they have.Rather than them posting on their relative owners site,Get one place where all people that have had bikes stolen, can go.Of course when anyone does get found out, vigilante justice can ensue!!!

The problem with vigilante justice is, unchecked, eventually innocent people will get hurt. So someone will think Mr X stole their bike, go and stove his head in, and in fact Mr X is reformed and someone else is now nicking bikes.

But personally, when there is no doubt because someone is caught red handed, I say bury them in the rose garden and send their parents their scrotum in a jiffy bag. Even if the police caught these guys, and even if they did go to prison (ALL BIG IFS) they would be out in no time and would not be reformed.

Permanent removal from society via firing out of a canon into the sun would be my policy. Vote for me.
