Cant fault Selco other than make sure you buy everything you need in one go because they have a knack of changing their stock which is a PITA if you need to go back for a couple more of something.

My advise. get a pro in to tile it. It will be neater and quicker than anything you can do. And they can generally supply quality tiles cheaper than you can source them.

I use Selco a lot, the stuff there is miles better than the crap at B&Q.

100% agree, unless you have perfectly flat and plumb walls with perfect tiles (which is like hens teeth).

A pro will do it in a third of the time and get over any rough walls a damn sight better than an amatuer.

Tiling is one of the few things I've never tried, and I'm happy to keep it that way

right heres a quick plan of what you need to do and things to think about.
The loo looks like its been there for a while so now is the time to put in a new one , if you are happy with it then take it out and refit on new tiles.
Figure out if you can get an eletrical supply to room to run heating mat.If you can then follow next plan.
Strip up the old floor and seal it , you could smooth it out now if needed but not that important at the moment.
Fix insulated board using a cement based flexible adhesive with a floor grade trowel.
Fix under floor heating,a loose wire system will be better in that room.
Skim over with a flexible latex leveling compound
fix tiles with a flexible cement based adhesive (chose colour according to tiles)
Grout with flexible grout.
refit loo (of course dont fit heating under the loo)
after floor set , turn the heating on low and gradually bring up temp for the first time.
stand back and hopefully admire

Can't you get new lamiate flooring that clicks together and looks like tiles, specifically for bathrooms, that would be easier wouldn't it? saves adhesive etc and would be relativly easy to get up if needed?
