Metallica Black Album Live...

I remember the Justice Tour too with Danzig . I saw them at the NEC in Brum , my first ever gig . I have fond memories of that . The lights went out after every song and a little bit of the Statue was added . At the end they pulled it down by the ropes .... and yes , they did the light rig stunt there as well . The crowd screamed and James stepped back out as it swung past with some very close timing . Strangely .... it was the last time I ever heard them play Harvester of Sorrow . Seen them live about 9 times since and never heard it again .

I remember when Danzig were playing and some guy saying "who the F*** are these lot ?" .... I tapped him on the shoulder and said "Remember the Misfits ?" . He shook his head , so I didn`t bother explaining who Glenn Danzig was . I also remember that you could take Beer into the arena back in those days . Some guy was pounding a case of Carlsberg . As the strains of "Blackened" were coming from the PA , he raised a can and then fell over ...... sparked right out . Nobody bothered to get St Johns and just left him where he was . Metallica did about 4 encores , practically played everything they knew at the time and walked off stage . The drunk guy got up and went "wooooooo-tallica" in a quiet and slurred voice ...... missed the whole show .
