Crash bungs - worth putting them on?

Ok thanks all - i think they might help with the parking in bays too - are they difficult to fit?

Nope, haven't crashed yet and obviously I don't plan to, but you can't prepare for other idiots on the road. Personally I'd pay an extra 20 quid to get some R&G ones that I know will do the job.

Yes..... as i found out at the weekend. Very little damage as the bungs did there job
Sill cost me for a new pannel, mirror and rear brake lever.

the left hand side of the bike is practically untouched except the foot peg, bear in mind it was going about 50ish when it low sided and went up the road on its side for about 20 metres+

Right - will do - how are they to fit though - their website suggests getting someone to do it as you have to take the engine bolts out?

easy to do. Basically you have a long bolt that goes through the enging and frame, undo the nut/bolt and tap it out. Then insert the new longer bolt and attach the crash bungs (and bracket). It's pretty simple and easy, even if you only do 'basic' things

@Daddyjob... I may be mistaken but I think you may have a slight front end alignment issue there. Perhaps that's what's causing you to drop your bike? You may want to get it looked at before you go out again.
