Its always the same, a simple 5 min job...............

Got the garage to do mine, but then the bumper had to be taken off to fit mine.

someone i know paid 470 quid to have on fitted to their 3 series and me being tight ar5e i didnt want to pay that.

mine had to come off also, i had to cut a 60x90mm slot into the bottom of my bumper aswell but you can only see it if you lay down and look under the car. its a removable flange towbar and only cost 100 quid, its the only one I've seen, the removable swan neck ones are 200+ quid

My juke one you have to cut a great big bit of bumper .
Haven't fitted it to my new one . As it does mess it up noticeabley.

They really need to start considering towbars when they design cars now, apparently the new 5 series has a little hatch underneath and you only take it off when you want to attach the towbar
