OK - let us know. There's another orger asking about the plastics I have available, but I've told him I've given you first dibs on 'em.

Prelim verdict: total loss. damage to subframe, exhaust system, needs new forks, yoke, head unit. I've asked for a minimum back on the road quote but he didn't sound optimistic. So you can sell on your fairings to this other guy if you want cheers Mick.

Looks like I'll be selling for parts... still has a nice engine with ~5k miles on it, wheels, tyres, chain + sprockets all good. I think fuel tank was untouched too but I'll grab photos if and when he confirms it's a write off.

Pretty gutted but was half expecting it

Even more of a scunner due to TPFT insurance. How much did you pay for it? Saltire are doing a great deal on new sv's just now.

Paid 2.8 last year and barely put any miles on it. I think I'll be looking for something cheap to get me from a to b for now, maybe some high-mileage hornet or something.

Any idea how much I can hope for for my wrecked bike as-is? a few hundred? I don't have anywhere to keep it so properly breaking is not really an option

sorry, that was "I'll think about it", not "tit". I do think about that, but that's a whole other matter....

Haha. Well I'll get photos and his full-report at the weekend so I'll post here before ebay, you can have first-refusal if you might be interested.
