Indeed. Both my and my brother's girlfriends are foreign and thought the In Betweeners was funny, but "too far fetched". Both girls thought that it was an exaggeration for comedic effect. They looked a bit dubious when we pointed out that:
A) Our teenage years were almost exactly like that.
B) The reason it is so funny is precisely because it's not an over the top caricature of life of a teenager in a British school, but a very realistic one.

Ridiculous or not, it's a fact, just look at the women rappers etc put in their music videos, exactly how I've described.

I haven't got tons of black friends in fairness but the ones I do all have 'bigger' partners.

So thanks for your input but unless you have real evidence to discount my opinions don't bother carrying on this conversation cos I can't be bothered to argue about something so trivial.
