thick colour first then thin one im pretty sure yc2 is ment to have a sliver bas coat befor the 2 blue paints as well

Interesting, I only got 2 colours from these guys online.

Where has any of you guys got your yc2 touch up from? No point in applying it to the bike and making a mess if I'm missing a colour.

get hold of some scrap bits of metal or plastic to practise getting the right colour and finish and see if what they supplied you with is anything close to the finish on the bike. if you do not have any scraps at home im sure if you asked at a local workshop or similar they could give you a few bits as it can come from anything as long as its a similar material to what you will be painting as your final product.

Test the colour out on some scrap plastic/metal for a colour match by using the dark blue colour first, followed by the lacquer. I have my doubts about whether it'll be any good as it is meant to be done over a grey basecoat as it's a 3 stage pearl but there's no harm in trying it. If it doesn't match then get in touch with the people you bought it off for the missing basecoat.
