No I am done with fat ass golfs. It's a clio sport 182
Might have been a showroom car or a test car (but they're normally plated and taxed) Speak to Renault UK and see if they can shed some light.

Sound legit TBH. Just thought they had to build a ton of them to match orders, might have sat at the importers a little while

Could have been a personal import from Europe.

I bought my car in Belgium from a Toyota dealer, new car, UK spec straight from the factory. Back then you could save a lot by buying in Belgium/Netherlands typically. If it was driven here on export plates it might well show as "used", I brought mine in by trailer so it was "new". I had to take it to the Vehicle Registration Office for them to see it before getting the reg docs/number etc.

Default Buying a new car - HPI Check question

Ok that makes sense embee. I phoned renault but they weren't any use.

It's not worrying me too much now. Just wasn't sure what it could be

Default Buying a new car - HPI Check question

Funny you should say that because I'm sure the first registered keeper is someone in an army base or something

Just checked and the first registered owner on the V5 is someone from Gamecock Barracks in Nuneaton. So can they use it as much as they want, then when they sell it they register it as new?

Yeh I'm looking forward to having some power. The guy that had it before me traded it for a scooby
