Andy, tell them to send them back to you and you'll refund them without issue (always be benevolent in disputes.) Its going to cost him 5 times the price to send them back and if he's stupid enough to do it then at least you know just how stupid he is!

I have 3 times now, he is adamant I'm in the wrong. Its in his hands as I dealt with it this morning via the dispute service and said send them back for a refund.

To show how much of a Bull**** muncher this person is (blacked out the names for obvious reasons)...

Dear *****,

nope!

These sliders were sold as used, listed as being used on the track.
The design of these sliders are that they are over 75mm thick new and are of a hollow construction to reduce the weight of the sliders.

Send them back to the address I've replied with in my email and the formal response via the dispute centre, and I'll refund you your money once I've received them

Dear **********,

or you could send me a set of sliders that are fit for purpose...as these are holed.

Dear **********,

I have received the knee sliders today, or should i say whats left of them....there is a great big hole in one and a small hole in the other, this was not how you described them.....what do you propose to do as these are useless. I don`t know how you could even think about selling these as they are only fit for the bin.

Reading the email convo.. IMHO

1. He knew they were used
2. He bought them knowing he would dispute it
3. He thought he'd have you over for a brand new set of knee sliders and is trying it on.

Haha, 'fit for purpose'?! His purpose was telling mates he's massive b0ll0cks, what does it matter how worn theyare/the design before wear? If he wanted to actually use them he would have bought new.

Problem is paypal's a pain in the **** as a seller hope you sort it.
Tell him if he dishonestly proceeds you know who he is and where he lives...

.....andyou'll tell all his mates he buys used knee sliders!
