Halfords m/cycle stock is a joke! I keep trying huddersfield and Halifax branches when deals are on castrol power one racing oil, its not a bad price if you have discount card also. They just fill the bike shelves with whatever they have so it looks good. Bike oil filters are worst. Shelves are full at a glance but non of the filters are on right slot, any popular ones are out of stock. Same with oil, the shelves are full but they only had one 10/40 racing in. All others were either rare grades or not racing! Told youngish lad what I thought and he agreed. He said halfords weren't interested in bike stuff! Why advertise in bike press then? More senior guy said its customers fault for moving stuff around!! I then reminded him last 2 visits there were the same. Have they ever done a stockcheck? Those filter boxes look ancient and battered. Joke is halfords have been in financial press about loss in profits, no wonder as its so difficult to actually buy anything useful form them

Yeah i think similar when i see the halfords bike oil filters. So many different types in the wrong place, and overpriced! £8 there or £5 online. £6 for a spark plug or £2.50 online, no wonder they arent profiting

Actually with a trade card. I got my CR8Es cheaper from Halfrauds than I could find online.

well I ordered myself some bar ends as that's all they had in stock that I wanted. Got there the girl looked and couldn't find them. This is after waiting five minutes to get served as no one about. Then another bloke(didn't seem to care) went off come back asked again if I had reserved them, yes, without a word went off again. Didn't know if he went off looking for them or for something else! Comes back a few minutes later with bar ends!!! £3 WELL SPENT SHAME THAT HALFORDS IN CHAWELL HEATH IS SO CRAP!!!!

OK so some of the stuff wasn't worth a pinch. But, this is worth it.

Halfords 120 piece advanced set. £59.99 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2 inch stuff. This has everything you need to repair any bike or car.
