It wasn't BBC giving it up, it was BT Sport coming in with a £10 million+ a year offer for the broadcasting rights.
Good chance eurosport will offer BBC a sharing deal on WSB and ITV a more comprehensive highlights deal

exactly Andrew, I would definitely agree that I don't think the bbc would be just giving it up, they must be stopping because they can't afford to keep forking out for it without whacking up the licence fee hugely!
