Re: Phone Holder Recommendations
I've not bought one, so can't comment on it, but the cases on www.twistyride.com look good. I particularly like the fact they're modular for phone-upgrade time.
If anyone has one, I'd be interested to know how good it is. |

Re: Phone Holder Recommendations
That's exactly what I've got but from a different manufacturer, I've used it to go all over the uk and can't rate it enough

Re: Phone Holder Recommendations
There's water proof phones cases of eBay I've used one but it's not really a big deal to find a bag but keeping the thing dry.
That's why I used an Sony xperia mobile s. On the Daytona had this type of mount http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTORCYCLE-F...%257Ciid%253A7

Ram Mounts X-Grip
Only really much good if you have a waterproof phone though.

Waterproof and still able to charge, use buttons and screen. This is the tank mount. I'll take a photo later if where I've mounted it to my handle bars. Ride safe |

Re: Phone Holder Recommendations
Consider a mount system that shows the screen a little higher up, say near to mirror height or near the clocks. Looking way down is more distracting, takes your eyes longer to focus to the unit and back to the road again and the screen is likely to be angled up. This last one is a pain as you will suffer more glare and may end up riding along holding your left hand over the screen to shield it from the sun. A RAM Mount system can be extended with a three inch arm to help solve this - I have something similar on my GSX using a ridermount.com sunshade holder which moves the case for my car's TomTom up near the clocks where it's easier to see at a glance.

Re: Phone Holder Recommendations
Looks massive haha see that would be an ideal place on the sv but unfortunately you can't mount it like that on the sv. How thick is the aluminium on the headstock where the ignition barrel is? I was thinking of drilling and tapping something made up for a more permanent fix

Re: Phone Holder Recommendations
I can't be sure about any other top yoke than on a curvy SV650S, buy my original yoke was a fairly thin casting.
