Default sv650s k3

Having only just got my bike last week and rode it home for 200+ miles in one go (ouch!!!!!) I feel the same about the footpegs - boy were my knee's aching I'm also looking into ways to make the riding position less extreme as I also had aching wrists especially the throttle hand (no - not for THAT reason) and wonder if anyone out there has a solution other than to completely change the top yoke and bars thanks

Make sure you're used to the bike before you do any protentialy drastic mods. I ached every time I used by SVS for about a month even on short trips, let alone 200+ miles before it went away. Be patient and you might be alright.

Default yeah hold on!

How can you sit on the bike for 200 miles and know what its really like! My butt cheeks started to ache tons after about an hour when I first started riding the SV, now I've got an SP2 that has a plank for a seat! as for SV pegs being extreme! what did you ride b4? a Harly?

The SV pegs are FAR from extreme, go and jump on a sports bike like an R6 of GIxer and you'll know extreme. Trust me, give it a few months and those nice high pegs of yours will be scraping tarmac and you'll be wanting higher ones, it seems to be a common first track day crash is decking the brake lever and pegs (Lee / Tim!)
