Start using Premier in West Wickham.
Premier are no better. Baught the seat cowl, It didnt fit, they didnt want to know about it.

Gonna do everything myself from now on since the warentee is worth nothing, as has been demonstated.

Not true. They might like to tell you it is but it really isn't. What's a modification anyway? Different colour handgrips? Don't be put off with the dealer's shoddy service and attitude.

would just like to say that BATs in Biggin Hill have been great with me. I bought the sv and it broke down, got towed and faulty battery replaced.

Then it broke down 20 yards outside blackwall tunnel one morning rescue guy came out, took one look and told me needed new rectifier. Towed to BATs, they found one and replaced it that day all on warranty with no quibble.

I know the guys there really well... they were good when I bought my gpz off them... but what is scary is the attitude of some places..

especially as I have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever so someone can talk to me and all I can do is look blankly at them... will know not to go to Mottingham... Premier Im surprised by cos I know them reasonably well and theyve been good to me in the past...

Dan, Premier are a good dealer. Not knowing the full story i cannot comment on your problem. However, the warranty is worth something, but it dont cover EVERY nut and bolt. Warranty work is Suzuki only. Anything esle is done at the dealers discression. You have been victim of a bad dealer. As for your seat cowl, none of them fit properly

Ok, i must have read the warranty wrong then. Its mainly down to the dealers discression, but at the end of the day a modified bike is a modified bike no matter what, and if the dealer sees fit, that its not a warranty item, then so be it.

Brilliantly put.
I can understand your position much better now.

If this is not a Suzuki dealer, is your bike a parallel import ?
If so, is the warranty a strange 3rd party deal ? (mine was!)

Good luck with getting the bike fixed soon
