Well, strictly speaking it would help. Doesn't strike me as the greatest idea in the world.
The track may still be slippy and ultimately you still have to do the same things on the track as you would on the road if you want to scrub them in.
The only difference is that you won't get run over by a car and there's less road furniture to hit.
It's just not the time of year to be hooning about.
Tyres should scrub in quite happily over about 100 or so miles, even in the wet, so it's just a case of taking it nice and easy.

Nice big roundabouts are fine for the right side of the tyre but what about the left side,

Life id to short to be unhappy so live for today tomorrow may never come.
