What, you mean you're not packing the odd pair of socks down there?!

If you don't have a pillion I suppose you could always were a cricket box... or consider starting a singing career as a Castrato!

Ahem, anyway, I have seen clear knee grips whick stick on to the sides of your tank. Some racers use them to increase grip when hanging off the side, but they're just as useful in stopping you sliding forwards.

Can't remember where I saw them though - I'll go have a look.

I used to do alot of horse riding - we had sticky bum jodphurs with to stop you losing your position, perhaps they do "sticky bum" leathers either that or as Kate suggested a cricket box!!

just been out for a run down to kingston, quick bit of chrimbo shopping and back up the A3. i like this bike vvvvvery much. not much to compare it to mind you, various scooters andf a crappy honda cb250!

anyway, tried different positions and found it more comfy, thanks for the suggestions.

does anyone else's get a big thump from the front forks when going over bumps on her majesty's "finest" black stuff? does not sound right, but may be they all do it.

They all bump! there's various theories as to why they do it, but no=-one's quite sure..personally I think it's the headlights, or the clocks bouncing against something. Others will say it's the headbearings, some the forks

I find that if I let my leathers sag just a tad it forms a sort of "net" across that protects the lads from dammage. I sit right up against the tank, so when I hit the brakes the pants absorb most of the force. I suppose you could go with a suede seat too......

Until you've done this....

I don't think you're in any position to comment!!

Before my little 'incident,' I never really had any problems... I would find things a little uncomfortable from time to time but that was generally from sitting too close to the tank when I sat on the bike in the first place.
The clothing you are wearing also seems to have an effect... Some leather is more grippy than others and fabric stuff doesn't really grip much at all...

You will probably get used to it though!!
