It seems far easier just to jump into the forum at the top and post "Whats the best exhaust".

Simple answer to this problem, move the exhaust forum to the top of the list.

May sound harsh, but come on, this forum is full of people asking the same questions over and over on numerous different threads all repeating themselves.

a lot of exhaust companies are turning towards the removable baffle race can. might be worth hold off for a bit and see if you can get a bargin or something. a can NOT to get would be a Carbon Can Co Can (sorry to anyone that has got said can), as they look horrid. i dont mind so much as it came with the bike and i got the original as well. i cant highly recommend a full Akrapovic race system with Dynojet as well if you have the funds. have it all set up together and the bike will sound oh so sweet and you gain a good few bhp. plus the flat spots are nearly completely removed. its what i'm saving for anyway. one of my mates has done it and its nearly like a different bike

I've got a Remus Revolution (Carbon) & it's soooooperb (IMHO of course)

If you wanna hear the noise listen 'here' (with Baffle,) 'here' (without baffle) & 'here' (with no exhaust at all)

Which is the best can to go for for a combination on noise and power? I prefer the look of oval cans (BillyC's Art titanium looks and sounds gorgeous).

Apart from cutting the standard exhaust off, is there anything else that would need to be done. It's a K3 650s.

Thanks

Will.
Sorry to do this, but this is what your bike looked like before you brought it!!! It used to run a Renegade Carbon high level and Renegade airkit. Spat flames and everything. Sounded nice and as you can see looked the dogs!

hmm not very hard

for noise ( sound) the renegade sytems take alot of beating

for perfomance the m4 seems the best you pays yer dollars and makes yer choice

unless your name is rictus then you have the m4 headers with a renegade back box OWWWWWWWWWWWW

WRP system's pretty good... It weighs nothing since it's all titanium (ie, the whole system inluding can, hanger and fasteners weighs about the same as the stock headers alone (ie cut off where a normal link pipe goes) which is pretty impressive. It's not especially loud, for a system, but it's got a really good howl at higher revs, a bit IL4-ey, and it burbles beautifully on engine braking

It seems well made, fits well, and was very very cheap (around half of a Yoshi system, frexample) That's only available for the original shape bike as far as I know, and hard to find.

I just bought an ancient-looking japanese twin high-level 2-2 system from Ebay, £250, so we'll see how that works out. More weight obviously but I don't really mind that... Twins look brilliant, after all, but I was put off the Rene twin high levels by the fact that they're slip-ons and not a full system. Thought about asking Jorge or Zorstec to do me a custome setup off of the WRP headers but that'd be too expensive I reckon.

Someone said they didn't like the looks of the CCC cans- I beg to differ, apart from the heat discolouration on the link pipe I was delighted with the way mine looked. Chopped it in for noise and performance in the end.

For the sake of perspective, I'm sure that the WRP Titanium system costs more £££'s than I'd care to guess. I'd also expect that Rictus' choice of M4 pipes is probably an economic one when you consider just how much Jorge at Renegade would spec for a set of pipes for the SV!

For what it's worth, Lee Bradbury has a full Akropovic system with road-legal slip on (removable baffle). It is very very tasty indeed!
