ok, so the 28th march at brands is on a monday- is the weekend sat,sun (practice and qualify) and mon the actual race ?

i wouldnt mind doing the weekend - as ive done reading before.

how much would a weekend ticket roughly set me back - for say 3 pll ?
take it you camp there ? is it a case of bring your own tent - pitch it up and sleep in it ? or is there more to it than that ?

also - i live about 30mins away from brands (i think) - could i just go home after each race and come back the next day ? (for hot showers and hot grub )

also - just wondering - if someone could explain where exactly brands is - ive never been there before

sorry for all the Divvy questions -

Contact Big Rock on 0845 644 1176, they are advertising tickets from £45! They supplied my tickets for Moto GP at Le Mans a few years back! They do take a handling charge so if you can find tickets elsewhere it may be cheaper! They have a website at www.bigrock-holidays.com

sorry for all the Divvy questions -
Yeah - the race weekend will be Sat: First qualifying (half day for 2004/5, so from 12pm-ish normally), (Easter) Sun: Second qualifying, (Easter Bank Holiday) Monday: Race day.

The weekend ticket will most likely cost somewhere around the £40-50 mark per person including qualifting & race days and camping as well... This is just a rough guestimate knowing what tickets used to cost (bear in mind I didn't have to buy any tickets last year! ) and you should keep an wye out in MCN for what are normally the best offers nearer the time... Try looking about a month before each race and you should find something about it there. As for whether you have to book camping, this changes every year and as I was in the Marshal's area last year, I don't know what the policies were last year but 2 years ago, they changed mid-season at Brands from having to book, to just turn up on the day at BSB meetings... Check in the press or when you book tickets. You will have to book & pay for camping at a WSB meet.

With reference to coming & going throughout the weekend, you are free to come & go as you please although it will get busier & more difficult to get in/out of the circuit as the last race/qualifying session finishes and as the weekend progresses!
At a BSB meet, a perfectly sensible idea would be to go home on Saturday night and camp Sunday night - it probably won't be that busy to hinder your getting out on Saturday night and won't likely be that busy in the campsite. It will also be fairly clear getting in to Brands on the Monday morning.

Brands Hatch is off Junction 3 of the M25, it's round a big Roundabout and up the A20 (not M20)... it is now signposted for Brands, I believe. Then it's pretty much straight on! You will go straight over one (small) roundabout and then take the second exit off the next one (straight on/left a bit)... Follow this road & it's on your left after a bit... It's hard to miss!!

At a BSB meet, you may be able to be sneaky & avoid traffic by taking the first left before the main circuit entrance, signposted to Brands Hatch Paddock Entrance... It's called Scratchers Lane but it will be closed to the Public at WSB meetings and possibly at BSB too, although this is unlikely... (Bizarrely friendly Police will advise if you can go down there or not... If not it's only another mile or so to the main entrance!!

There is a map here

Shouldn't be too hard!!

Hows about getting a few from on here together!!??

I'll be there - whether I camp or not, I don't know yet as 11-12 hours standing trackside & lugging broken bikes around kinda needs some energy & for you to be alert!
