Shall we all come on here and slag the SV off? After all, it is an SV site!
If you think a Hornet can blow an SV away, then the SV must have been ridden by Stevie Wonder!

Obviously someone that has never ridden a hornet then. The are both very enjoyable bikes, both similar in performance. The Sv aint that quick you know. Open your mind

A cbr mind, well, thats a totaly different kettle of fish

Don't get us started, I bet most of the people here have something bad to say about the SV, even if it's just build quality.

Yeah, fair enough, but neither is a Hornet. Open your mind.
I have been riding for about ten years and have ridden a number of bikes,
including a Hornet and i am certain that in real world riding conditions an SV is much more enjoyable, better looking, and sounding than the Hornet.

I was actually trying to stand up for the SV! its been getting a rather bad press on this Forum lately. IMHO.

Would that be why you bought an SV by any chance?

I'm sure alot of people on here would agree with you that an SV looks nicer, there really isn't any need to tell us, almost all of us own or have owned an SV.

Now, perhaps we can get on with a real discussion of the bikes? Saying one is better than the other is pointless, saying exactly what you like or don't like about each bike is useful.

The SV doesn't need standing up for, we are pretty much all people that love the SV, but like everything in life, there is more to it than just one thing.

Carsick, Fine, I agree that 'variety is the spice of life' and all that. But i thought this was a web site dedicated to the SV although, perhaps i am wrong!

The SV can keep with most modern 600's to a ton...
