Erm... well... When Stu got home last night he put a scupper to that one by telling me he wanted us to go down to Horsham on the weekend...

If we're back on Sunday at a reasonable time it may be a possibility... Guess I'd better have the optimate up and ready for my next dead battery...

Default As per

Finked the Optimate was for leaving connected so as not to have a dead battery You leave it on when the bike is parked up for any length of time
it monitors the battery keeping it "fooly charged" Ping comes out ,turns the key,Barrroooooooom Charlies your aunt There she was gone

My bike's parked outside my house, there's no external power and I have no garage. I could have the lead through the window but it gets cold (not to mention the fact that leaving the window open and house unattended is a bad thing.) and if I shut the window the tight double glazed frame will damage the lead.

So, until we get 'round to drilling a hole through the wall I'll have to just resort to trickle charging the bike when I'm actually home or see if it lasts between now and my next ride. :P

I WOULD have kept my spare battery on trickle if Stupot hadn't binned it.
