You don't say where you are or what you're running the bike for, but on the road no speedo drive = no tacho = no resell biko For a race bike, of course, it's pretty irrelevant.

Well this can all be done from from one unit of which the name esacpes me now. If it is fibered in it will look really cool and fancy for anybody who wants to by the bike after. its not going to be a race bike, more of a track day wepon! i live in southampton/london. im a regular at the ace cafe and southampton mcc the stock sv is fairly slow but i love the bike and with more power it will be superb.

Aye, loads of ways to do it if you're not bothered about messing up your clock readings... Veypor works well if you want to do it on the cheap.

well actualy the vaypour unit is fairly acurate! anybody fancy a flame kit for their bike? hit button, make flames - its a fun and constructive alternative to making a big scene about nothing

I know it is, that's why i recommended it As a cheap alternative to race dials anyway. I've still not got the HP charts to work well, but then I've not really been using it much through the cold wet months.
