i got a blue flame
pain in the proverbial

customer service rating - - - 0

took me about 4 months to get it all sorted and the right parts sent out to me while i was constantly on their case

go for something else, blueflame are pretty expensive and u can get better from your dollar elsewhere.

Default Blue Flame IMEXP are complete ****e

I had a Blue Flame on my '00 model that lasted less than 15,000km.

All the rivets fell out of the leading edge causing it to leak, sound terrible and fall apart. It was cheap, but still not worth it.

I replaced it with a Yoshi, which was still quite cheap, looks fab, sounds brill and seems to be a top bit if kit.

With the wedge still in your pocket, the power is yours..............

I thought that I heard a feew complaints about blue flame before so I think I'll play it safe and probably go for Akro as I like the idea of being able to make the bike quiet again should I need to! Like Yoshi but more £££'s and also just race not road and race! but Oh so sweet! Ta all now I gotta see hoe much PRP I get next month!

Or try a Wolf - about the same cost as teh Blue Flame but beat Akra and everyone else for that matter in the big MCN test last year.

A removable baffle should make a difference to both sound and performance if done correctly - our legal cans have these and with the baffle in make about 2 bhp gain and legal (but deeper) noise levels - with teh baffle out they make 7 bhp and 98 dB

On an SV? That's very impressive... I've seen people fail to get that much with full systems.

I understand that exhausts have been covered in the reviews section.
Akropovic are the best, but it depends on whether you want to spend that sort of money on what , after all, is a budget bike.
I have a G-Force race end can, good build, reasonably priced, excellent sound and (apart from the Akro) won a recent 'RiDE' magazine end can test for best overall value.

As you're actually a manufacturer I think if you are recommending your own products you should contact Admin and ask for a link on the Services and Offers page, and possibly chuck in a bit of discount for members?
Just a thought

Indeed.

From what I understand many removable baffle cans actually see a reduction with baffle in also. I also understand that when looking for a can its important when looking at bhp gain (if you care about it) that you compare like for like with respect to bike type. I have read that many quoted figures are for engines that responds especially well to a new can (I think an older Faser is one such bike). Many bikes don't achieve the same gains, and I think with slip-ons the SV is one such. I'm not certain about this so just throwing it open to discussion.

Very true. However, i understood that the SV was one of the bikes that responded well to an end can change as the standard can is very restictive. The best example of this is a Bandit 12 which has been known to liberate an extra 10 or so bhp from just an end can alone!
