I was walking along recently wearing my bike jacket and guy on a duc actually gave me a nod
 Good observation i thought.

I do it too. People usually nod back!
I do it when the other biker is on foot too (although not in a bike shop/show- that'd just be weird ), like if I'm out on a saturday afternoon and there's someone else who is obviously a biker.
