It doesn't look like this anymore, it's mostly back together now, but I've got a few things to finish off first, a couple more new bits 'n bobs, then it'll get a proper clean.

Sid, while its apart like that you might as well jetwash up inside the dirty looking pipe sticking out the back. Get it cleaned up a treat. Just a tip for you there

I threw a bucket of water over it yesterday. Does that count?

I haven't spring cleaned it yet, but that's a job for this weekend.

Well, I started with a smaller but more powerful and torquier* motor, then I added better, more adjustable suspension, (Ohlins rear shock, Ohlins springs and modded dampers up front), and better brakes, after that I decided the original frame wasn't up to the job, and then to suit that different bodywork was fitted, then I thought it could do with a paint-job, and finally I wrote a cooler name on the side of the tank.

Oh and the original clocks don't have a...erm...clock, so I got a set that tell the time too.

*Yes it is before anyone regurgitates the old chestnut about fours having no torque - The ZX6 makes more, but to be fair, the SV curve is flatter.

Will get a clean when the salt is off the roads. Until then it's all just damage limitation with wd40 and hosing the salt off.

Have kept mine clean throughout the winter, but have just noticed some black paint flaking (but can't remember where now...somewhere near the engine!!).
