Real sorry to hear this, I know that when I drove the Evo into Norwich to deliver to the new owner I was bricking it and all the drivers around me seemed to either be getting in my way or trying to ram me!

Heres to a good outcome for you!

Went in to the dealer - they were pretty good about it - priced up a new part - £155 and took that off my part ex.

I rode away on my new K5 (you may have known this as the heavens opened at exactly the same moment as i drove out of the dealership - it's my day today).

Anyway - onward and upward - i'm happy that i have my new bike and shot of the old one - i'll get some pics up tomorrow!

Now my part ex bike doesn't look so part-exable. How can this happen? my only ever accident on the day i go to part ex my bike?

I honestly feel like blubbing like a small child.

Uplifting words of wisdom please.
The most frequent mishap on our roads today. Did exactly the same thing last year. ****** drivers who freeze at roundabouts. Usually drive Nissan Micras.

Sorry - i used the 'Free Hosting' thread in the Photos section as a bit of a guide - it just says to keep them under 500k - i didnt realise they would still be so big!

I had my 2 most miserable biking moments today - 1 being this mornings ****ting of my old curvy and 2 being the 'guiding' of my new 5k pride and joy down the greasy M3, ****-wet through with new tyres and new brakes in a thunderstorm.

Still - all's well that ends well and shes safely in the garage - chamoised off and will not see light of day until we are well in to 60 degree territory!

First impressions over the old bike - lighter, firmer, better sounding. I guess the wooden brakes will sort themselves out in time?

Thanks for your kind words of support!

Dan

P.S - anyone out for a ride in Basingstoke area this saturday who doesn't mind hanging on for a sub 6k rpm'er - drop me a line!
