used knickers aside I think the danger with buying these "instant heroes" would be that you're talking the talk and if you can't actually get your knee down you would end up looking a complete prat when people found out you bought ready scuffed ones to look cool.

Usually the posers fit them the wrong way round so the scuffs go in the wrong direction
Watch for them at pub meets they're more common than you think.
racers sell their used ones all the time, some swop old for new with power ranger posers.

mine r nicely scuffed now, all i had to do was slide down the road on my front.... no problem. didnt even require much skill.

just a stupid car driver.
