Well it passed, now taxed and fully road legal! SO HAPPY!!! Been off the road since end of December.
Re: Mirrors, got a bar end one, but didn't need it, (not for the test anyway, definitely needed for London rush hour, had forgotten about that  ). BUT your experience may vary, had a really cool test bloke who was very relaxed about the bike, the fact that I'd rebuilt the front end, not fazed by needing to tweak the lights, etc.

gd job mate. i wouldnt ride without both mirrors anyway
Alot of MOT places dont mind too much with bikes, as they dont have to test the exhaust system unless it says "Not for raod use" so as long as urs doesnt say that, they dont have to legaly test it and can say "i belive it looks road legal"  (hence my full system gets through fine)
