there is no bike bay in albemarle st, it is at the top of that street in grafton st.

i use it daily and even at 8:20/30 its often full. its also a bit of a hike from where you want to be i think. you might also try st james sq - there are quite a few bays but i guess they'll fill early too.

I park mine in the 7 bike bays we have at work, but despite the signs on the wall usually have to move the cleaners trolleys and other crap out of the way as there is only about 5 people who use the bays including one off this forum. It seems even if your company allows you to park the bike you are the lowest form of life in the world. have complained to the house manager who only stated dont park in my slot or you wont be allowed to bring your bike in. now just move all the cleaners stuff into his slot so he might actually take note.

Thanks for the offer. But I decided I should fix it before I did the farmyard rally so I bought a pair of motrax ones.

A couple of days ago outside our office all the bikes in the bay were pushed over and left there, some people from our office picked them all up.

All due to a silly space that the council left next to the bay on a dead end road and people try to do a 3 point turn because they dont like reversing down the road.

Lucky my bike was not there as this was done in the morning before i arrived, if i was there hell would have broke loose. I am the only one with an alarm on my bike in the bay and its only 10m away from my office and can hear it. I am thinking of extending our CCTV in the office to cover the bike bay.

commiserations to all having these problems!

Thankfully I can park my bike up next to the security guard's booth where I work...

This was very useful last week when the guy rang on the bell for our office and asked if I wanted the keys I'd left in my nice shiney ZX6R...

Doh!

At least he did....some would have happily ridden of on it.

Personally...i'd have kept em on me and watched from a discreet place while you faffed about searching yourself for em. then just as you were about to kick the bike over and kill everyone within a 10ft zone of you...i'd offer them back. For a small reward of course

I once was Head of Security and dropped my keys next to my bike. They were the OE Suzuki keys next to the only Suzie in the park. Security picked them up but didn't tell me - then watched me panic all day!
