A few spares and tools... If I'm doing any distance or away overnight I always carry a pair of front levers and a tyre plug kit, taped inside the front fairing- I never even know they're there but if you need them you'll be glad for it. Spare plug and plug wrench under the seat in case I manage to foul one. (only done this once but it's so easily fixed I'd be a bit embarrassed to have a trip ruined because I didn't bother to carry one)Bit of decent cloth tape for sticking anything to anything else. Don't bother to take any tools you can't use, though...
I can fit a fair bit of stuff under the front seat, as long as I'm careful not to allow shorts across the battery- handy for things you'll probably not need, same as taping stuff inside the fairing... Those glow sticks are dead handy when camping, since it takes ages to find a torch or light a gas lamp, and they weigh nothing, easy to carry all day... And not being funny but get a small frying pan if you don't already have one- a big one's a waste of space and is hard to use on a small stove. I've got a brilliant set of stacking pots with lids that double as small frying pans that I think were my grandad's in the war ![]() Couple of bin bags are handy for helping keep stuff dry when camping- a damp lid or leathers are no fun. Something small and properly waterproof- whether it's a cheap plastic mac or a mylar blanket or whatever- if there's one really wet day everything will get wet, and if you're watching the racing you'll want something not just "waterproof" but actually properly waterproof to cower under. This stuff's mainly what I've picked up from music festivals but it's the same deal.
