Like others, if - and it's a big if - I carry anything it's the photocard part of the licence. Nothing else................. taking the docs to Cardiff Central cop-shop isn't exactly hard for me.

Always carry the breakdown recovery card with me

I do take the docs with me if I'm going on hols for more than a week, though.

Going to a cop-shop with the docs is certainly less hassle than having to get replacements if I lost them.

My insurance is stashed with the bike and my license is on me.
Only reason I carry the insurance stuff is because of the trip to France the other week making it necessary.

I carry the card Licence only. Apprently you should carry the paper part as well by law?
