I went back this morning and had another chat with em....they wont go down in price but i will be getting a 250 quid shoei lid free and 100 quid of the lower fairing which i have decided i want. They are 10 mins from me, have a good rep and i am happy with that deal but i will check out other places before i actually buy

If they are giving you freebies they have margin to waste.

You say about them being 10 mins away, I always wondered about that as many people mention location as a factor. I'm always of the assumption that the only time I want see a dealer is when I buy the bike/car and get when I get it serviced. If I see them anymore then that then something has gone wrong and I'm probably asking for a refund.

Means nothing but maybe something to consider

Well it saves me buying a 250 quid helmet i want and 100 quid of the fairing...obviously to them it is not so much as they get the stuff at wholesale but i need to pay full price.

Nice to have a decent dealer close by for when things do go wrong...and they do!

Cheers....when the day finally comes to buy i will push for free mushrooms. Is it true that only the Suzuki mushrooms will fit the lower fairing without needing to modify the fairing? Never seen them on a bike but in photos they look a lil short

yes they fit but you would be better off trying the new R+G ones, they fit in the same place but seem stronger than the std ones

I checked R&G website and they do stick out better and offer more protection and the list does say they fir fully faired version....they cost about 90 quid but it is money well spent in my opinion
