Thanks guys I would have said more but when i got home and had time to think about it, the more pi$$ed off I became. Vic has taken it worse then me which upset me alot

Tonight I was visting Vic's mum who is terminally ill at the UCH.The bay I used one time before looked full, which was a bummer because it's right next to the pub which is full around that time(office workers and sun). Still I found one in the street just off that one so I was happy. Stayed in the UCH for just over an hour to come out and find my bike had been taken not 10mins before When I was walking to the bay, I kept thinking hold on can't see my bike....**** I really can't see my bike....
A lady who was parking her car saw the whole thing and took down the Reg number of the Van ( White W911 WUO or WOO ) 2 men jumped out and picked up the bike with the alarm going off and put it in the van. Then the third guy drove the van off......bye bye bike

As I said before Vic has taken it badly because she asked me to stay instead off just picking her up and going, and this week has turned out to be a bloody bad week as it is( Keeps saying she can't believe ppl would nick things outside of a hospital) But thats the Wa&%ers we have now days.
Keep thinking if only we had not stayed till the end of little angels on telly or vic had not spoken to the nurse on the way out who had asked after her mum maybe I would have come out just as they were there.....just goes on and on

Steve, I'm gutted for you mate. not nice when some one thinks it's OK to take something that you've worked hard for and prize dearly.

No point in saying "what if?" or we'd never get out of bed in the morning and the b@stards would have gotten to us before we'd even started.

Looking on the bright side, you seem to have a good and reliable witness to the whole affair. Might even be worth checking to see if there was any CCTV.

Hope they get the to$$ers and that your insurers are sympathetic and, above all, helpful in the meantime.

dunno if this would help at all, but you might at least get some more details from this www http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/Evl...vent=link.next

you'll need to know the make of the van - might just shed some extra information

gutted for ya [/url]

****,

sorry mate, I work at UCH as an I.T. Engineer, I know the theft rates are bad there. I know of a couple of bays that are safer, but I am lucky to have underground secure parking with the job.

So sorry to hear it got nicked, I am not sure what the CCTV is like round there, it always seems lacking.

I do know that's going to change. With the new hospital building by Warren Street station (well over the road from it) they are thinking of revamping CCTV round the UCH sites. (So I heard).

Sorry again.

Rich

CRikey!

Sorry to hear that.

I am at uni at UCL. Was it parked in the bay on university street by the Jeremy Bethem pub?

What bike was it?
Have the police determined if the plate was genuine or the van stolen?

Once again, very sorry.
